Field Team Lead- Mobile Maintenance

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure technicians’ time is fully utilized and billed correctly.
  • Set goals for the department and work toward meeting them.
  • Maintain all required reports and service records.
  • Lead weekly team meetings and manage daily schedules.
  • Monitor department performance, productivity, and payroll.
  • Oversee parts availability and follow up on orders.
  • Review and approve repair orders and warranty submissions.
  • Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
  • Handle customer concerns and complete follow-up calls.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and warranty regulations.
  • Recommend new tools, equipment, and staff training as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
  • Represent the company professionally during customer visits and meetings.

Supervisory Duties:

  • Responsible for managing both exempt and non-exempt staff.

Skills Needed:

  • Strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to present information clearly to team members and customers.
  • Basic math skills (percentages, discounts, measurements, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Includes on-call evenings and weekends and some travel for customer visits or company events.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years as a Service Advisor or Service Manager (truck or automotive preferred)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows systems
  • High school diploma required
  • Valid driver’s license with clean record
  • Must pass background check and drug test

Physical Requirements:

  • Mostly seated work, with occasional bending or reaching.
  • Able to lift 5–20 lbs occasionally.
  • Occasional exposure to engine fumes and loud noise.
  • Must be able to perform detailed, accurate work.
  • Overtime as needed (including on-call rotation).
