Field Support Veterinarian

About the role

Encore Vet Group is seeking a Field Support Veterinarian to join our team as a full- or part-time, travel-based DVM providing exceptional care across our hospitals in North Carolina and South Carolina. This role delivers hands-on, high-quality veterinary care to Encore practices as needs arise, such as covering vacations, family leaves, or team transitions, ensuring continuity of care and peace of mind for local teams and clients.

This role is ideal for someone who loves flexibility and variety, enjoys building relationships across multiple hospitals, thrives in dynamic, travel-friendly positions, and wants stability with the excitement of relief-style work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality veterinary care to Encore practices throughout North Carolina and South Carolina.
• Provide coverage for vacations, family leaves, or team transitions to ensure continuity of care.
• Adapt to different teams and clinical settings with ease.
• Build relationships across multiple hospitals in the region.

• U.S. licensed veterinarian.

Pay

Base salary range from $120,000 to $160,000 (or higher) based on experience and production capabilities. Pro-sal and salary options available, with potential sign-on bonus or relocation package. Total compensation package is flexible to meet your needs.
