About the role

Koch Specialty Plant Services, LLC is seeking Field Superintendents for various locations across the United States. We are a leading provider of tower, vessel, and mass transfer equipment services to the refining and chemical industries.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and properly install trays, packing, grid, feed pipe, distributors, collectors, various column pressure internals under limited supervision.
  • Possess basic Process Safety Management knowledge and Hazardous Communication skills.
  • Able to identify exchanger components such as straight tube, U bend, fixed head bundles, channel head, dollar plate, bell head, floating head, etc.
  • Identify hand and power tools and their purposes.
  • Able to identify and use all tools and equipment necessary to perform assigned work.

Requirements

  • Experience leading industrial construction, maintenance, turnaround, outage, or specialty services projects.
  • Experience supervising field personnel in refinery, petrochemical, chemical, power generation, or other industrial environments.
  • Demonstrated commitment to environmental, health, and safety excellence.
  • Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel and support project assignments as business needs require.

Qualifications

  • Superintendent-level experience managing large industrial turnaround or outage projects.
  • Experience with specialty welding, code welding, and high-energy piping systems.
  • Experience supporting capital projects, revamps, brownfield modifications, and new construction projects.
  • Experience with tower and vessel maintenance, specialty welding, piping systems, mass transfer equipment, or related industrial services.
  • Experience coordinating multiple work groups, subcontractors, and complex project schedules.
  • Proficiency using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Mobideo, Procore, or similar project scheduling and execution software.
  • Current NCCER, OSHA 30, TWIC, or other applicable industrial certifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships while delivering successful project outcomes.
  • Knowledge of project controls, scheduling, budgeting, and workforce planning.
  • Proven ability to improve productivity, safety performance, and customer outcomes.

Pay

The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
