About the role
The Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising assigned employees within a designated region and/or field offices for the contract assigned. This strategic position assists in oversight of all aspects of administrative, technical, operational, contractual, and financial components of the program. The role ensures established workflows, policies, procedures, protocols, and fiscal accountability are performed in their office.
Responsibilities
- Enforce program changes as specified by the Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager and disseminate guidance to personnel.
- Ensure ongoing program-wide compliance with contract and company policies, procedures, and guidance, with applicable laws and regulations.
- Implement, monitor, and ensure the effectiveness of the company’s quality control plan and training programs. Escalate concerns and suggest improvements to the Site Manager.
- Report any operational, compliance, and/or field wellness check issues to Site Manager and Deputy Program Manager.
- Frequently and consistently interact with assigned Field Specialists throughout the shift to gauge assistance, address questions, and/or resolve concerns.
- Conduct in-person spot checks during field site wellness events to verify contract compliance, including review of documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Support field safety and wellness operations by ensuring Field Specialists follow established protocols, procedures, and safety standards.
- Conduct operational inspections of program activities, office, equipment, etc.
- Manage and review all schedules on a weekly basis, ensuring staffing is consistent and fair while maintaining flexibility to meet project demands. Communicate schedule changes in a timely manner.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and corrective action; escalate when needed to the Site Manager.
- Provide input on future staffing needs with the Site Manager, Program Manager, and Deputy Program Manager.
- Identify inappropriate employee behavior and/or performance issues in collaboration with Site Managers and address through corrective or disciplinary action.
- Manage and communicate with on-site teams, consisting of Administrative Assistants and Field Specialists.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide required reports to Executive Management on a timely basis while managing, verifying, and updating information in the company database system.
- Ensure the program complies with quality control standards, training, and contractual requirements, exceeding standards as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and communicate changes to the team.
- Review employee training status and certifications monthly or as needed to meet contractual requirements.
- Assist the Site Manager in conducting orientation and on-the-job training for Administrative Assistants and Field Specialists with regular check-ins.
- Assist in ensuring proper utilization of staff, including limiting overtime hours.
- Provide updated reports pertaining to on-site operations as needed.
- Identify trends and deficiencies in documentation quality, timeliness, and data integrity, and escalate recommendations for corrective actions.
- Monitor Power BI (Case Work Orders, Time-In Transit, Field Specialist Hours Worked/OT, Field Specialist Not Worked, etc.) and the effectiveness of IT systems, bringing improvements to the IT Steering Committee.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (an associate degree with two or more years of extra relevant experience may be substituted, or more than four years of related experience may substitute for a degree).
- At least two years of documented experience in a field related to law, social work, detention, corrections, or a similar occupational area (a minimum of four years of experience is required when substituting an associate degree, or six years when substituting four years of experience for a degree).
- Demonstrated experience applicable to the goals and objectives of this requirement in a similar program environment.
- Must be accessible by mobile phone 24/7/365.
- One year of experience supervising employees in a similar program environment or completion of the MVM Site Temp Lead Program.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Work schedule may fluctuate according to demands, including evenings, weekends, and irregular hours.
- Frequent travel required between offices, within the service area, for audits, meetings, and conferences.
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Availability to travel regularly within the United States.
- Investigative and report writing experience.
- Must show proof of US passport or be in the process of obtaining one unless specified otherwise in the contract.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Schedule
This position is mission critical and essential to ongoing operations, requiring a flexible schedule to support a 24/7/365-day operation.
Security Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Security Clearance.
- Favorable credit check.
- Successfully pass a background investigation and drug screen.
- May be required to pass or present specific requirements depending on the position (e.g., DOT exam, vaccinations, CPR, flu shot).
Physical Requirements
- Standing/Walking/Mobility: Must have mobility to attend meetings with managers and employees.
- Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 0% - 10% of the time.
- Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: 0% - 10% of the time; must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Fine Motor Skills/Dexterity: Must be able to write, type, and use a telephone system 100% of the time.
- Sitting: Prolonged and extended periods of time.
