Field Services Technician

Dashiell is a national provider of technical services to various industries including electric utilities, power generation, and renewable energy. They specialize in medium and high voltage electrical infrastructure projects.

Primary Function

The Technician I will perform electrical testing, maintenance, and start-ups of high voltage substations under close supervision.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing services on power apparatus, substations, and switchgear (protective relays, circuit breakers, power transformers, etc.)
• Perform troubleshooting and problem identification and analysis
• Generate technical reports detailing services provided, problems found, and corrective action taken or recommended
• Represent the company professionally with clients
• Communicate regularly with company management on project status and manpower/equipment scheduling
• Maintain safety as a top priority

Qualifications / Experience

• Possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
• For Field Supervisor position, a Bachelor's degree is required
• Skills in electrical testing methodologies, standards interpretation, diagram reading, analytical skills, communication, and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a TWIC card
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work on feet, and work in hazardous or outdoor environments
• Travel to job sites and overnight travel up to 25%

Compensation / Benefits

• Compensation range: $60,000 - $190,000 yearly
• Discretionary annual incentive compensation program available for senior positions
