Field Services Technician

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Provides field work support on site-specific jobs to meet the goals of the project in a safe and conscientious manner while generating value and satisfaction to internal and external customers.
• Reports back to the office at the end of the day after being dispatched out to projects in the region during the day.
• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times.
• Prepares necessary supplies, tools, and other equipment for transport to worksite.
• Cleans and scrapes the inside, and assists with the removal of, underground chemical storage tanks; prepares waste for proper disposal.
• Demolishes contaminated buildings and land sites; operates excavation and filter press equipment.
• Operates small hand tools and provides other construction-related assistance during projects.
• Decontaminates Company equipment and tools.
• Loads, unloads, and samples drums; responds to emergency spills as needed.
• Maintains the ability to travel up to 50% of the time to project sites.
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.

Education & Experience

• High-school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Valid Driver’s License (preferred).

Physical Job Requirements

Due to the potential exposure to atmospheres/waste/materials, this position requires individuals to be clean shaven at all times in order to don a respirator for protection.
