Field Services Driver CDL B

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Provide on-site operations of equipment and transportation of wastes to disposal facilities in a safe and conscientious manner.
• Generate value and satisfaction to internal and external customers.

Pay & Benefits

$7000 sign-on bonus available.
Pay starts at $25/hour depending on experience.
Schedule & Travel: Guaranteed 40 hours per week; overnight travel expected approximately 2 times per month (1–2 nights per trip).

Key Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum trucks and straight trucks safely and in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
• Accurately label containers and complete all required hazardous waste documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with customers at each stop.
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, and compliance standards.

Location & Schedule

The position reports to the Field Office and is dispatched out to projects in the region during the day. Reports back to the office at the end of the day. Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times.

Preparation for Daily Trip

• Inspect vehicle and equipment.
• Fuel truck and ensure all equipment is in excellent operating order.

Job Duties

• Drive to customer service sites to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste material to facility for unloading and disposal.
• Complete manifests, company documentation, and other marking and placarding documents for every load managed.
• Maintain a logbook for DOT compliance.
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.

Education & Experience

• High-school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience.
• Valid CDL Class B license.
• Hazmat endorsement required.
• Air Brake endorsement required.
• Tanker endorsement required.

Physical Job Requirements

This role requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator. Due to respirator requirements, employees must be clean-shaven.
