Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Play a hands-on role in the safe transport and handling of hazardous waste materials across multiple customer sites.
• This is not a sit-behind-the-wheel role — our drivers are active contributors to each job from start to finish, including loading and unloading, container labeling, waste sorting, and completion of regulatory paperwork.
• $7000 Sign on bonus Available!
• Pay: Pay for this role starts at $30/hour, CDL drivers with experience can earn more depending on experience.
• Schedule & Travel Guaranteed 40 hours per week; overnight travel expected approximately 2 times per month (1–2 nights per trip).

Key Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum trucks and straight trucks safely and in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
• Accurately label containers and complete all required hazardous waste documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with customers at each stop.
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, and compliance standards.

Education & Experience

• High-school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience
• Valid CDL Class B license
• Hazmat endorsement required
• Air Brake endorsement required
• Tanker endorsement required

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

This role requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator. Due to respirator requirements, employees must be clean-shaven.

• Pay Range A reasonable estimate of the starting base salary range for this role is $28-35/hour. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in an annual bonus plan based on company performance.
