Essential Responsibilities & Expectations
- Adheres to and follows all applicable and required safety standards and procedures
- Weld/salvage parts on frames, engines, hydraulic systems, attachments and related power train systems and do all sorts of custom fabrication
- Regularly inspects equipment for welding and/salvaging possibilities by visual inspection, and by the use of testing, diagnostic and measuring equipment to determine problems or malfunctions
- Able to diagnose and assess to equipment to fabricate repairs
- Clean and service all welding machines
- Orders and return parts for assigned jobs in timely manner
- Test and adjust components for optimal performance
- Works independently in a field environment
Qualifications
- A minimum of one (1) year's work experience involving mechanical repairs or a combination of relevant experience and equivalent technical education is required
- Experience using personal computers and basic typing skills are required
- Preferred: Med Card, CDL, MVR (required)
Skills and Competencies
- Intermediate engine, transmission, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic, and repair skills
- Written communication skills
- Basic computer skills

- Working Conditions: Work is normally performed in a Service Department shop. Exposure to physical risk and all-weather conditions is associated with this position. Standing on hard surfaces for extended periods of time is often required.
