About the role

Inovair is seeking a skilled Industrial Field Service Technician to deliver top-tier service to our customers. If you thrive in dynamic environments, excel at troubleshooting, and enjoy empowering clients with technical know-how, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities

• Commission & Maintain Geared Centrifugal Blowers: Perform on-site installation, routine maintenance, and repairs of industrial equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot Like a Pro: Identify and fix mechanical, electrical, and controls system issues, delivering smooth operations with timely solutions.
• Support HQ Operations: When not in the field, work hand-in-hand with the assembly crew on production needs and partner with the engineering team on testing procedures for outgoing products and R&D projects in the Test Cell.
• Fulfill Component Orders: Process, fulfill, and respond to customer requests for replacement components in a timely, accurate manner.
• Train Customers: Provide hands-on training to clients and end-users on equipment operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting, building their confidence and competence.
• Document with Precision: Complete detailed service reports for every job and collaborate with engineering and production teams on improvements, updates, and retrofits, ensuring accurate records that support compliance and continuous improvement.
• Travel with Purpose: Hit the road to customer sites across the USA and Canada (up to 50% travel), representing Inovair with professionalism and expertise.

Requirements

• 2+ years in field service, industrial maintenance, automotive repair, HVAC, pumps, or a related technical role (military experience a plus!).
• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, using diagnostic tools, and reading technical schematics, as well as working with control systems such as PLCs, VFDs, Ignition, and Panel View.
• Strong communication skills and a knack for teaching others, with a commitment to exceptional service.
• Thrives in dynamic settings, comfortable working independently, and open to travel as required.
• Valid driver's license and passport (for travel to Canada).
• Ability to properly and safely operate all machines marketed and serviced by the company.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Certification in industrial systems, water or wastewater experience, or related fields.
• Experience with VFDs of various brands, Allen-Bradley software, Ignition software, or electrical certification.
