Responsibilities
- Responsible for on-site repair and maintenance of copier/fax/scanner equipment at customer locations within an assigned territory.
- Refurbish used equipment, including cleaning and repairing.
- Perform minimal setup and installation at the customer's location.
- Troubleshoot non-printing issues.
- Provide outstanding support by meeting customer needs in a courteous and timely manner.
- Maintain and repair copier and multi-functional products on-site in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Maintain and expand current technical knowledge by attending training classes and meetings.
- Maintain proper parts inventory in vehicle.
- Use diagnostic tools, service aids, and product schematics to assess and resolve equipment and system failures.
- Perform in-shop repair and maintenance of internal equipment.
- Conduct in-shop setup and installation for equipment and accessories.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic computer skills required; networking skills a plus.
- A+ certification preferred.
- Network certification and/or training desirable.
- Current valid driver’s license & proof of insurance.
- Good driving record.
- Mechanical aptitude required.
- PC & Microsoft skills.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screen. Standley Systems has federal contracts that require compliance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988; therefore, medical marijuana license-holders who test positive for marijuana will not be qualified for the position.
