Field Service Technician (Neptune) - Casper, WY

About the Role

As a Field Service Technician supporting the Neptune rover, you will spend the majority of your time in four key areas:

• Traveling between hospitals based on assignment of service requests.
• Troubleshooting and resolving customer and product issues.
• Building positive relationships with Stryker customers, peers, and internal partners.
• Documenting service results to maintain accurate quality records.

The environment and culture for this role is fast-paced, requiring the ability to solve complex problems while maintaining strong relationships with customers, sales representatives, and other internal partners. This role lays the foundation for multiple career paths, including engineering, project management, sales, and leadership.

Candidates must be willing to spend most weekdays traveling, successfully communicate with customers, and possess strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with or around bio-hazardous materials while wearing provided PPE to maintain a safe working environment.
• Work overtime and overnight, including weekends, as specified by customer needs.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of reports, metrics, proposals, and presentations.
• Interpret service bulletins, user manuals, technical manuals, and drawings.
• Adhere to HIPAA and other patient confidentiality policies and procedures.
• Explain and generate detailed guidelines and procedures.
• Maintain professional appearance, work ethic, and attitude as required by Stryker and customers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of technical service or equivalent experience preferred.
• Bio-medical equipment maintenance, repair, and installation experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and adaptable to learning company software.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED required; university or formal technical training preferred.
• Near visual acuity (corrected), color vision, mobility, bending, standing, stooping, and finger dexterity.
• Ability to exert up to 75 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs constantly.
• Ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced and sometimes stressful conditions.
• Excellent teamwork, coordination, and collaboration skills.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $28.01 - $38.75 USD.
