About the role

Seeking a mechanically skilled Field Service Technician to service, install, and maintain pump systems and lift station equipment at customer locations. This is a hands-on field role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with mechanical equipment, and interacting directly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform service checks on pumps using a crane-equipped service truck
• Pull pumps, inspect for wear, change oil, reinstall equipment, and complete service reports
• Deliver and install new or repaired pumps at customer lift stations
• Assist with lift station remodels, including re-piping and new equipment installation
• Complete work orders accurately, including drive time, onsite labor, parts used, and follow-up needs
• Communicate professionally with customers while completing service work
• Make customer and sales visits while traveling through assigned service areas
• Attend paid training meetings

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools, components, and repair methods
• Ability and willingness to perform physically demanding field service work
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Ability to meet applicable DOT driver requirements
• Ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle
• Professional communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to read and complete service reports, work orders, and required documentation

Safety and Field Requirements

• Safety boots, safety glasses, and hard hat required on job sites
• Wet-well entry requires a second person, gas monitor, and fall-arrest equipment
• Annual physical and current health card required
• Driving record must remain acceptable for field service responsibilities

Tools and Uniforms

• Company provides service trucks and required tools
• Company reimburses required safety equipment and safety shoes
• Company reimburses up to five pairs of work jeans
• Company provides shirts and jackets
• Personal tools are not required
