Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm.

Responsibilities
- Work in the field at customer locations in and around the Eau Claire and Chippewa Valley area.
- Complete assigned field service jobs to repair and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
- Communicate with the Road Lead Technician regarding unusual service issues or for technical support.
- Attend service training classes to stay updated on new products and industry advancements.
- Complete and submit all required paperwork daily, including timecards and maintenance reports with customer signatures.
- Coordinate with the dispatcher or service office on job status and availability.
- Identify jobs requiring shop repair due to complexity or safety and recommend accordingly.
- Build relationships with territory sales representatives to share potential sales leads.
- Adhere to all safety rules and company policies at all times.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts, automotive, heavy equipment, construction equipment, truck, or farm equipment (must be full-time mechanic experience).
- Strong skills in diagnosing and repairing gas, diesel, and electric-powered industrial equipment.
- Strong customer orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and assignments efficiently.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfortable using laptops for diagnostics and reporting.
- Own the necessary tools to perform repairs.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently (occasionally up to 75 lbs.), and perform duties involving standing, kneeling, reaching, and operating machinery.
