Field Service Technician-Los Angeles, CA

About the role

Flow is seeking a Field Service Technician to support the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of Waterjet, CNC Laser, and Press Brake systems. This role involves providing hands-on technical support, training customers, and diagnosing and resolving complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair Waterjet, CNC Laser, and Press Brake equipment
• Provide hands-on technical support both on-site and remotely
• Train customers on machine operation, preventive maintenance, and safety
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and software issues
• Build strong relationships with customers and become their trusted technical partner
• Support machine performance through routine maintenance and service excellence

Requirements

• Experience with Waterjet, CNC Laser, Press Brake, or similar industrial machinery
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
• A customer-focused mindset and excellent communication abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Comfortable traveling extensively and adapting to new environments
• Valid driver's license and passport required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in relevant field preferred
• At least 2 years of related experience in a technical support or service role
