Field Service Technician - Level I

Job Description Summary

The Pump & Power Technician 1 at Sunbelt Rentals is responsible for loading and unloading equipment, performing basic preventative maintenance, and minor repairs to ensure minimal equipment downtime.

Education or Experience

• 1-3 years of experience and/or familiarity with repairing and maintaining Power/HVAC/Compressor/Pump equipment and accessories

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Basic knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, Heater, HVAC, and Diesel driven Pumps; possesses a basic understanding of diesel equipment, electronics and hydraulics
• Operational process/system aptitude

Physical Demands

• Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more
• Working indoors/outdoors as required by the job
