Field Service Technician Laser

Essential Functions

• Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, control systems, and networks
• Precisely follow layout drawings and blueprints used in the installation of equipment
• Complete status (service) reports on a daily basis and expense reports on a weekly basis
• Communicate in the English language
• Provide excellent customer relations and follow-through
• Manage the total equipment installation process at customer site, including use of hand tools, climbing, bending, and stooping
• Handle operation, applications, software, and part programming capabilities, and customer training for such
• Use Amada applications software used in line control and part programming
• Travel regularly within assigned territories
• Lift up to 50 lbs

Non-Essential Functions

• Communicate in the Spanish language

Reporting Relationship

Reports to Regional Service Manager. Subordinate staff: None.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Electronics or a minimum of a 2-year degree with related work experience preferred

Skills

• Analyze and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, optical, and electrical systems
• Use hand tools, Volt/Ohm meter, and Oscilloscope
• Working knowledge of computers and Windows OS
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
• Be accountable and responsible to service and support a customer through all aspects of the customer's ownership of the machine

Travel

Routine travel within assigned territories with occasional overnight stays. Territory: Northern California & Northern Nevada.

$30.00 per hour
