About the role

BeaconMedaes is seeking a Medical Gas Field Service Technician for the Las Vegas, Nevada area. This role is ideal for a highly motivated and energetic individual looking to become part of a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, preventative maintenance and repairs on medical gas equipment at customer facilities.
  • Conduct diagnostics on malfunctioning products, determine causes, and perform repairs.
  • Document operating parameters before and after maintenance and repairs.
  • Provide walk-through evaluations and basic system assessments.
  • Offer high-level customer service, responding to customer needs and meeting expectations.
  • Develop rapport with customers through communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism.
  • Serve as an ambassador for BeaconMedaes.
  • Train and assist other Service Technicians as needed.
  • Provide technical support to other departments and personnel as required.
  • Maintain proper safety procedures and PPE.
  • Maintain a professional image through appearance and actions.
  • Ensure the service vehicle is maintained according to manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Manage inventory levels accurately to provide quick customer repairs.
  • Complete job reports, time sheets, expense reports, and other job-related paperwork.
  • Return parts replaced under warranty as requested by Technical Support, Quality, or Service Management.
  • Communicate effectively with all necessary parties to complete assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical field service experience maintaining and repairing various types of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of a wide variety of compressed air or vacuum equipment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
  • ASSE 6040; ASSE 6030 or ASSE 6020 credentials.
  • Associate degree or equivalent technical training in mechanical and/or electrical, or equivalent experience.
  • Comfortable using a computer, familiar with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Customer-focused and takes ownership of meeting customer needs.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
