Troubleshooting
Troubleshoots customer machine problems in person or over the phone to successful resolution
Generates orders for required parts needed
Travels as required to end users to perform service
Handles and processes returned service parts
Performs preventative maintenance on machines as time allows
Affords assistance to distributors in installing new machines and machine upgrades
Sets forth activity reports and other required documentation
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Electronics knowledge
- Ability to read blueprints & schematics
- Ability to use computer applications (e.g. Word, Excel)
- Even temperament with customers and coworkers
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Logical thinking
- Strong mechanical aptitude

- 25% Travel
- Ability to life 50-80 pounds
- Home Office Setting
- Choice of sitting or standing or alternating between them (stand-up desk optional)
- Keyboarding/typing on a computer for extended periods of time
- Moderate noise, i.e., phones, printer, light foot traffic
- Medium noise, i.e., manufacturing facility with machinery operating on factory floor with heavy traffic
