Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all technical areas of Field Services customer support.
- Provide technical and mechanical services support to internal and external customers in various settings.
- Demonstrate expertise in conflict resolution, advanced problem-solving, and proficient diagnostics such as vibrations and emissions.
- Utilize advanced leadership and communication skills to lead all startup and commissioning tasks effectively.
- Serve as a Reciprocating Compression Products Subject Matter Expert (SME) and proficiently perform engine and compressor diagnostics.
- Present diagnostic results professionally to customers.
- Lead or perform all startup and commissioning tasks as required.
- Must be familiar with GE Startup & Commissioning Standards and have the ability to start and operate the package.
- Travel extensively and work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Perform physical tasks such as ascending/descending ladders, moving heavy boxes, and working in outdoor conditions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Reciprocating Compression.
- Mets all sublevel (FS Technician I, II & III) requirements.
- Clear, concise, and accurate service reporting is required.
Education
- Complete training for the following: Associates Degree with a technical concentration (Bachelor’s Degree recommended) or equivalent work experience.
- Formal training in a technical certificate program.
- Technical training in the oil and gas industry or associated industry.
