Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform layout and integration of developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment and systems.
- Provide system installation, testing and troubleshooting support.
- Perform software and hardware integration testing.
- Develop and execute test procedures.
- Strong focus on remote support/troubleshooting as well as on-site support for Navy ships.
- Interface with U.S. Navy engineers, OEMs, and vendors to prepare equipment for installation, testing and troubleshooting.
- Conduct dockside and at-sea testing.
- Operate, monitor, and interpret navigation systems data.
- Diagnose and repair system faults and failures.
- Maintain test logs and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or GED or Technical training or Navy Technical School.
- Field Service Technician I - 0-1 years of hands-on experience with navigation equipment.
- Field Service Technician II - 1+ years of hands-on experience with navigation equipment.
- Field Service Technician III - 3+ years of hands-on experience with navigation equipment.
- Field Service Technician IV: 5+ years of hands-on experience with navigation equipment.
- As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship.

Standard offices and laboratories: Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. In shipyards and aboard vessels: Significant use of hands to operate equipment and tools. Significant lifting of 40 lbs. Sitting, stooping, bending, twisting, reaching, lying prone, and squatting on a daily basis. Work is performed in highly variable work conditions to include seasonable variations in weather and temperature. High probability of working in confined spaces where movement is restricted. Dust, noise and constant activity associated with the movements of materials and people, and the fabrication of steel, including welding and the use of overhead cranes/hoists.Benefits
