Safety
Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Ensures that safety is the most important function, follows safe practices while working. Reinforces safe behaviors and eliminates “at risk” behaviors. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly. Ensures Job Hazard Analysis (JHA’s) occurs before scopes of work commence. Adheres to and understands standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Takes direction from senior site personnel.
- Sets positive example for and mentors junior technicians.
- Troubleshoots low voltage DC power systems.
- Troubleshoots low voltage, medium voltage, and high voltage AC power systems.
- Conducts preventative maintenance on AC and DC power systems.
- Identifies faulty or underperforming equipment.
- Uses hand tools effectively.
- Utilizes a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Manages site inventory.
- Affixes to development of site operating plans.
- Follows site safety plan and safe work practices.
- Adheres to proper Lock-out-tag-out (LOTO) practices and procedures.
- Interfaces with project stakeholders (owners, equipment manufacturers, etc.).
- Interfaces with project subcontractors.
- Represents RES in professional manner to project stakeholders.
- Responds to physical location within 1.5 hours for emergency calls identified as a priority by Operations Control Center.
- Operates RES company vehicles, including trucks, in accordance with state and federal laws and RES policies.
- Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
- Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.
- Rotating on-call schedule for emergency response.
- Presents, supports, and leads by example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
Skills
- High school/GED General Education required.
- Associates Degree related Technical Degree preferred.
- Certification OSHA 10/30 preferred.
- Certification FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot preferred.
- 4+ years or more related electrical maintenance experience required.
- 2+ years or more Medium voltage electrical work experience required.
- 1+ years or more High voltage electrical work experience preferred.
- Intermediate- High voltage electrical power systems.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Advanced- Low, medium, high voltage electrical power systems, drawings and circuit theory.
- OSHA regulations.
- Hand tools.
- Job hazard analysis (JHA) creation.
- Electrical tools (multimeter, IR camera).
- ANSI/NETA/MTS.
- SCADA systems.
Physical Requirements and Environment
- Rarely: Climbing, Crouching, Kneeling, Pulling 5-15 lbs., Pushing 5-15 lbs., and Stooping required.
- Occasionally: Carrying 5-15 lbs., Pinching, Lifting 5-15 lbs., and Walking required

Pay and Schedule
Anticipated base salary range: $33.67 - $42.09
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
