About the role
As a Field Service Technician at NCR Atleos, you’ll act as a trusted partner to our customers, delivering high-quality service to keep self-service technology running around the clock. This role involves installations, maintenance, and repairs of electromechanical equipment like ATMs and self-checkout systems. You’ll diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues, manage system configurations, and proactively address customer concerns. Responsibilities
- Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively within an assigned territory.
- Service and repair electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and system overhauls.
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving hardware, software, networking, and system configurations.
- Manage network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity.
- Organize and triage customer issues, addressing problems proactively when possible.
- Communicate with customers in an open, helpful, and professional manner focused on resolution.
- Participate in virtual and hands-on training programs provided by NCR Atleos.
- Comply with NCR Atleos policies, including Shared Values, Code of Conduct, health and safety standards, accurate timekeeping, and fleet/safe driving requirements.
- Perform other related duties consistent with qualifications and business needs.
- May be reassigned to adjacent service territories during standard shifts to meet operational needs (advance notice provided when possible).
- May elect to participate in overnight travel assignments to support broader service coverage (all travel follows established company policy and reimbursement guidelines).
Requirements
- Local candidate to the Philadelphia, PA area.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- At least 19 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets NCR Atleos fleet requirements.
- PC skills, basic electronic skills, and operating system familiarity.
- Ability to perform essential job functions without reasonable accommodation, including:
- Prolonged travel with several hours of driving per day.
- Rotating and weekend shifts.
- Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and repetitive hand movements manipulating objects of various sizes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.
- A+ Certification, CompTIA, or Network+ (N+) Certification.
- One (1) or more years of related experience.
Pay
The posted salary range for this role is $45,000.00 – $58,000.00. Starting compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, geographic location, and business needs.
