About the role

The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to customers in the field. This includes troubleshooting equipment issues, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to customer equipment
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on customer equipment
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Document all service activities and submit reports as required
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in a technical support or maintenance role
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills

Qualifications

  • Proficient in using common IT tools and software
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure and basic computer hardware
