We are seeking a Technician to diagnose, repair, recondition, and adjust equipment while maintaining high standards of safety, organization, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, recondition, and adjust equipment as required
  • Complete all paperwork on troubled equipment assigned
  • Attend training sessions as required
  • Work in a neat, orderly, and safe manner, constantly seeking to improve methods and the safety of others
  • Maintain a positive attitude and serve as a role model for other employees
  • Maintain a minimum set of tools required for job performance
  • Care for and maintain company machines/equipment and ensure co-workers are doing the same
  • Utilize dealer computer systems for work orders and other documentation
  • Maintain personal company service literature and maintain high awareness of technical changes in the industry
  • Test, diagnose, and adjust equipment failures
  • Repair or replace defective parts on machinery/equipment
  • Disassemble components and clean parts
  • Inspect components to ensure maximum parts are being reused to control repair costs
  • Create repair estimates and submit information to substantiate quotes and estimates
  • Prepare all parts requisitions, time cards, or service reports as requested by supervisor, ensuring they are legible and accurate with sufficient detail for service accounting needs
  • Monitor job expenses versus repair estimates and ensure the lead person is aware of any cost overrun prior to job completion

Qualifications

  • Must have completed standards outlined in the personnel achievement guideline or have been determined to meet the same qualification by the lead person based on division location
  • Must be able to comprehend, speak, and write the English language
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High School education including a specialized technical course or equivalent years experience as a Technician preferred
  • 3–5 years direct Technician experience
  • Combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Must possess a valid Class D Driver's License
