Field Service Technician I

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, certification, calibration, and repairs across different lab environments with a strong focus on quality.
• Work directly with clients to understand their needs, communicate clearly, and ensure the job is done right.
• Build strong relationships and be the main point of contact for customers on site.
• Complete reports and required paperwork on time to keep projects on track and clients updated.

Work Environment

• Travel daily to customer sites in your assigned territory, driving about 30–300 miles per day.
• Work independently out of your own company-provided service vehicle.
• Lift, carry, and move equipment weighing 50–100 lbs while standing and walking for most of the day.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree is a plus).
• Background in customer service and some mechanical or electrical experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technical work.
• Good communication, basic math skills, and comfort using Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently, manage your time, and travel (including some overnights).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Pay

Earn $22.00 – $30.00 an hour, based on your experience and skills.
