About the role
The Senior Field Service Technician (FST) is a field-based position responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining chemical dispensing equipment and other commercial foodservice or laundry operation equipment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to ensure customer retention and superior customer satisfaction.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain chemical dispensing equipment and other commercial foodservice or laundry operation equipment.
- Work independently and manage tasks efficiently within a 5-day work week, occasionally including 12-hour shifts, weekends, and night shifts.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, standing, sitting, walking, twisting, bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling, reaching, operating a computer keyboard, and using a cell phone.
- Operate a motor vehicle for approximately 30% of the day, ensuring safe driving in various weather and road conditions.
- Work in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, in warehouse-like environments.
- Conduct business, service, and maintenance activities at customer sites, adhering to occupational health and safety requirements.
Requirements
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills through provided training.
- A basic understanding of electronics, plumbing, maintenance, or mechanical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot with root cause analysis.
- Moderate working knowledge of appropriate tools, data, implements, and service needs.
- Proficiency in laptop and cell phone technology, including Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- A valid driver's license, with occasional overnight travel required.
- Live in a specified city and be eligible for on-call coverage, which may include weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding in electronics, plumbing, maintenance or mechanical systems.
- Moderate working knowledge of appropriate tools, data, implements, and service needs.
- Proficient in laptop and cell phone technology, including Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- A valid driver's license.

- Eligible to be onsite at customer sites to conduct business, service, and maintenance.

Pay
Starting Pay / Salary Range: $29.00 - $31.03 / hour.
