The Senior Field Service Technician (FST) is a field-based position working independently to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain chemical dispensing equipment as well as other equipment used in commercial foodservice or laundry operations. The goal is to deliver exceptional service (not sales) in a way that drives customer retention and superior customer service. Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain chemical dispensing equipment and other commercial foodservice/laundry equipment
• Deliver exceptional on-site service to ensure customer retention and satisfaction
• Perform root cause analysis for equipment issues
• Operate a motor vehicle safely in city, rural, and expressway conditions (approximately 30% of day spent traveling between accounts)
• Provide on-call coverage, including occasional weekends, holidays, and night shifts
• Work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold), warehouse conditions with dust, dirt, and uneven surfaces (concrete, asphalt)
• Lift, lower, and carry objects up to 50 lbs; push and pull objects up to 50 lbs
• Climb vertical ladders and stairs; stand, sit, walk, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and reach for extended periods
• Operate computer keyboard, phone, and interpret visual/audible alarms and signals for equipment startup, evacuation, and fires
• Comply with occupational health and safety requirements for on-site customer work

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Must reside in the specified city (Oklahoma City)
• Basic understanding of electronics, plumbing, maintenance, or mechanical systems
• Ability to troubleshoot using root cause analysis
• Moderate working knowledge of appropriate tools, data, implements, and service needs
• Proficiency with laptop and cell phone technology, including Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Willingness to learn new skills through provided training
• Strong work ethic
• Availability for occasional overnight travel
• Eligibility to work on-site at customer locations per health and safety requirements

Pay

Starting pay range: $22.45 – $25.26 per hour. Compensation varies based on office location, role, credentials, relevant skill set, and level of experience.

Schedule

• Full-time (5-day work week, 8 hours per day)
• May include 12-hour shifts, occasional weekends, and night shifts
• On-call coverage required (occasional weekends, holidays, and night shifts)
• Approximately 30% travel time between customer accounts
