Field Service Technician (Entry Level) – Denver, CO

We provide the hospitality, foodservice, and long-term care industries chemical programs and solutions that keep their facilities clean and safe. The Senior Field Service Technician (FST) is a field-based position working independently to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain our chemical dispensing equipment as well as other equipment used in commercial foodservice or laundry operations. The goal is to deliver exceptional service (not sales) in a way that ensures customer retention and superior customer service.

Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain chemical dispensing equipment and other commercial foodservice or laundry equipment.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of mechanical, plumbing, and electronic systems.
- Operate a motor vehicle, traveling safely in city, rural, and expressway conditions (approximately 30% of the day).
- Input and access data using a computer keyboard and phone, including Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Respond to visual and audible alarms and signals for equipment startup, evacuation, and fires.
- Work in extreme temperatures, warehouse conditions, and environments with dust, dirt, and wide temperature variances.
- Perform physical tasks including:
- Lifting, lowering, and carrying objects up to 50 lbs.
- Pushing and pulling objects up to 50 lbs.
- Climbing vertical ladders, stairs, and uneven surfaces (concrete, asphalt).
- Standing, sitting, walking, twisting, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and reaching for extended periods.
- Provide on-call coverage, which may include occasional weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of electronics, plumbing, maintenance, or mechanical systems.
- Moderate working knowledge of tools, data, and service needs.
- Proficiency in laptop and cell phone technology, including Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Occasional overnight travel required.
- Must live in the specified city (Denver).
- Must be eligible to work onsite at customer locations consistent with occupational health and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate would have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn new skills, and the ability to work independently in a field-based role.
Pay
Starting pay/salary range: $26.60 - $28.46 per hour.
Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Work schedule is typically a 5-day work week, 8 hours per day, but may include:
- 12-hour shifts.
- Occasional weekends and night shifts.
