Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical documents, hardware, and systems for shipment.
- Perform a variety of mechanical, electromechanical, and electrical assembly while onsite during the installation phase.
- Perform on-site installation and termination of cable assemblies via schematics and drawings.
- Troubleshoot wiring and mechanical items.
- Absorb and assist team members with the integration of modules.
- Perform initial power on inspections, testing, and checks.
- Test and validate functional performance of systems and subassemblies at ambient and -20°C.
- Demonstrate and communicate the work performed onsite such that the next team can come in and start the commissioning phase.
- Point person for third parties while onsite.
- Provide corrections and repairs.
- Provide feedback to Hamilton HQ on recommendations for system reliability improvements.
- Utilize a variety of electronic and/or mechanical test equipment.
- Complete and submit paperwork & expenses in a timely manner.
- Interface with cross-functional work teams such as R&D, Customer Service, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Sales.
- Follow company's ISO and Health & Safety procedures.
- Manage and complete all work in accordance with the planned project schedule.
Qualifications
- Comfortable in confined spaces while still being aware of the environment.
- Comfortable working around live and wired systems.
- Comfortable working in cold environments, -20°C environment, -80°C components.
- Able to read schematics and assembly drawings.
- Understanding systems as it relates to Mechanical, electrical, sensors, motors, power distribution, configurations, backups, etc.
- Excellent communication skills, which are appropriate for a customer facing role.
- Able to make decisions and act for customers based on knowledge and experience.
- 50%+ travel.
- Able to work under pressure without compromise.
- Able to work independently with limited direction as well as in a team.

Requirements
- Associates degree or equivalent professional experience-based knowledge or certification.
- A degree or working towards a degree is an advantage.
- Experience in automation or similar is essential.
- Experience working with customers in the life science/clinical/pharmaceutical field would be an advantage.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $35.00 to $45.00 per hour.
Schedule
The final salary offer will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, specialized skills, and professional qualifications.
