Field Service Technician/Driver

About the role

As a Field Service Technician/Driver at HME Specialists, you will play a crucial role in delivering, setting up, and educating patients and their families on medical equipment. Your empathetic and patient approach will be invaluable as you interact with customers face-to-face, providing them with the support and understanding they need during a potentially challenging time. You will ensure the proper installation and operation of the medical equipment while providing reassurance and peace of mind to patients and their loved ones.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical equipment to patients' homes or healthcare facilities
• Set up and install medical equipment
• Educate patients and their families on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide timely solutions
• Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with patients and healthcare professionals
• Demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding in all customer interactions

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented approach
• Empathy, patience, and understanding when working with customers in-person
• Familiarity with medical equipment and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
• Proficiency in using software and tools related to delivering, setting up, and maintaining medical equipment
