About the role
As a Field Service Technician at ACP and Verticomm, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our clients' office technology equipment runs smoothly. Your responsibilities include responding to service calls, diagnosing problems, making necessary repairs, performing routine and preventative maintenance, and communicating the status of repairs to clients.Responsibilities
- Respond to service calls for clients needing repair on their office technology equipment.
- Travel to client locations to diagnose and repair copiers and printers.
- Inspect machines and perform routine and preventative maintenance.
- Replace parts that are nearing expiration.
- Communicate the status of repairs to clients and order necessary parts.
- Schedule a return visit if immediate repair is not possible.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills.
- Training through employment or a technical college in automotive repair, computer repair, or aviation or a similar field is preferred; personal experience is also considerable.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
- Clean driving history with no DUI convictions or reckless driving infractions in the past 5 years.
- Willingness to submit to a criminal background check.
- Clean cut appearance; no offensive tattoos are permitted, and excessive tattoos may require covering.
- Availability to park a company vehicle daily.
