About the role
Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial security systems. Works closely with clients to ensure system functionality and provide technical support.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain commercial security systems including alarm panels, cameras, and access control devices.
- Provide technical support to clients to resolve issues and answer questions about their security systems.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on security systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond to emergency calls to install temporary security measures and assist with system recovery.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Experience with commercial security systems installation and maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for security systems.
- Knowledge of local building codes and electrical safety practices.
- Experience with basic computer troubleshooting and networking.
Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
