Field Service Technician, Commercial Dock and Door

About the role

Rite-Hite Service Technicians install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. They act as a technical resource for customers and the sales force, work independently or in small teams in a field service environment, and serve as a primary customer contact.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer sites
• Serve as a technical resource for customers and the sales team
• Work independently or in small teams in a field service environment
• Act as a primary point of contact for customers

Requirements

• Experience welding and working with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Prior experience in repair or installation of industrial equipment (preferred)
• Ability to work independently in a field environment
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and DOT physical
