Field Service Technician - Cincinnati, OH

About the role
The VERIFI Field Service Technician will interface regularly with plant management, batch plant operators, concrete mixer truck drivers, and truck maintenance management and mechanics. Based at home, the candidate will spend approximately 80% of their time as the only VERIFI employee at customer sites, requiring the ability to work independently. Schedule flexibility is required, as field visits may be scheduled late at night and/or very early in the morning. This role operates in a rapidly changing environment due to acquisition and merger efforts, demanding high flexibility and critical thinking.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze system performance reports to determine problem areas and develop resolutions.
- Coordinate problem resolution with other employees, serving as the local liaison and first line of contact to the customer.
- Perform installation, preventive and scheduled maintenance, calibration, and emergency and service repair of Verifi systems and admixture dispensing equipment (on truck).
- Assist Field Sales Representatives in winning and maintaining customer contracts by building and sustaining professional relationships.
- Understand the impact of customer satisfaction on achieving corporate goals.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (Associate’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical focus preferred).
- Broad knowledge of computer systems configuration, mechanical systems, pneumatic systems, 12/24 volt DC electrical systems, and hydraulic system principles.
- Ability to learn new technology and processes quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with colleagues and customers.
- Organized and detail-oriented, particularly in maintaining records.
- Hands-on electro-mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, meters, and gauges.
- Experience in field service type work.
- Working knowledge of the Ready Mix Concrete industry.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Flexible work hours and ability to respond to short notice project work and emergency service, including overnight travel.

Pay
The national pay range for this position is $52,500 - $82,500 per year. The base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus with a targeted amount of 8% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position is $56,700 to $89,100.
