About the role
The Field Service Technician will install and maintain processing and packaging machinery, providing preventive maintenance and on-site equipment repair. This role requires strong electro-mechanical skills and a customer service-oriented personality.
Responsibilities
- Apply highly developed troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical skills to install and maintain processing & packaging machinery.
- Analyze equipment performance, troubleshoot to isolate problems, and determine actions needed to restore system to performance specifications.
- Share information with team members, customers, and your supervisor to help prioritize and keep customer apprised of corrective actions and equipment status.
- Inform customers of routine preventive maintenance techniques.
- Participate as necessary in new projects to install or improve the safety and performance of existing and new equipment.
Requirements
- Five (5) plus years of maintenance experience – servicing, troubleshooting and repair of electro-mechanical automated machinery.
- Experience of maintenance, installation, service and diagnosing issues/repairs on automated food processing and packaging machinery is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic power systems, conveyor systems, or control systems.
- Initiative, critical thinking, complex problem solving, judgement and decision making, persistence, attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility, concern for others and leadership.
Qualifications
- Food Processing or Packaging Machinery experience is desired.
- Bilingual English-Spanish skills is desired.
Physical Requirements
- Work near moving mechanical parts.
- Work in high, precarious places.
- Outdoor weather conditions.

$65k to $85k a year
