Field Service Technician
About the role
The Field Services Technician is responsible for the clean-up of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste. The Field Services Technicians will be expected to perform confined space entry, work hands-on, and operate a variety of equipment which may include but is not limited to pressure washers, hand trucks, forklifts, and power tools.
Responsibilities
- Handle and package Hazardous and Non-Hazardous materials.
- Utilize pressure washer, hydro blast equipment, forklift, and specialty vacuum equipment.
- Complete critical path documentation, including manifests and job summaries.
- Communicate with the Project Manager and on-site customers.
- Perform work in confined space entries and utilize mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools, and hand tools.
- Adhere to requirements of Company policies and procedures, OSHA, and all local, state, and federal laws.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma / GED required.
- Must be 21 years or older, due to interstate travel in a commercial vehicle and federal regulations.
- Minimum of 1 year experience preferred.
- Valid state driver’s license required.
- Possess 40 HR HAZWOP certification, preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Effectively work in a team setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a respirator fit test.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including occasional overnight travel (with ample advanced notice).
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to use sound judgment and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Walk, stand, sit, and climb.
- Consistently work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces.

Pay
The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $41,885.00 - $57,525.00. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
