Field Service Technician

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (oil change, valve adjustment, lube and check equipment)
• Use tools (including diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools)
• Read, interpret safety documents, schematics and other mechanical diagrams
• Troubleshoot and repair engines
• Work well as part of a team
• Work in non-climate-controlled conditions
• Travel, including overnight travel
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to succeed
• Communicate via telephone & email

Qualification Requirements

• 7+ years' experience in a technical role or extensive experience with issue resolution exposure within Field-Service on engines (ideally INNIO Jenbacher engines)
• Technical attitude, complemented by strong business acumen including basic IT skills
• Willingness to work in shift model (depending) and on call
• Fluency in English a must
• Good interpersonal skills

• Strong communication skills… experienced in customer communications
• Boundaryless and multi-culture working mindset and team player
• Able to work efficiently without direct supervision
• Multi-working experience with Jenbacher gas engines in the field, operational & commissioning, all engine types
• Jenbacher training certifications: FTB, FTA, CT1, CT2, MR6
• Mechanical RCA research and analysis exposure
• Previous field experience a bonus
