Role Overview
Field Service Technician responsible for after‑sales and warranty service in the Northeastern region, ensuring customer satisfaction through technical support and maintenance of servo‑hydraulic and electro‑mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical assistance via phone and ticketing systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on servo‑hydraulic and electro‑mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures.
- Deliver service quotes and conduct system testing and calibration.
- Manage service cases and support regional service growth.
- Manage travel and expenses according to company guidelines to maintain high service standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with 3–5 years of experience, OR High School Diploma/GED with 5–7 years of field experience.
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Proficiency with hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, adaptability, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft Navision and Dynamics CRM is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 70% within the U.S.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders, crouch, and work in various positions and environments.
- Must work in settings requiring manual dexterity and physical effort.
