Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
- Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
- Maintain a service van and its inventory.
- Process paperwork after completion of each job.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
- Less than 2 years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines.
- Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
- Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, or knowledge of testing equipment.
- Familiarity with tools such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder, and testing equipment.
- Industry-related training.
- Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow through.
