Field Service Technician (Appliance Repair) - Seattle, WA (Bellevue, Redmond, Seattle Downtown)

About the role

LG Electronics seeks a Field Service Technician (DMST) for the Seattle, WA metro area. In this role, you'll deliver an exceptional customer experience while servicing LG products in customers' homes. Our full line technicians diagnose and repair all major appliances, TVs, and A/C units, manage inventory, and perform administrative tasks daily. Technicians are the face of LG and represent the company with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Travel offsite to customers' locations to perform maintenance and repair of LG's equipment to ensure top product performance
• Properly use all safety equipment (PPE), vehicle, and diagnostic tools provided by LG
• Conduct technical diagnosis and perform specialized repairs on a variety of electronics and home appliances
• Diagnose problems, assess the extent of the issue, document findings, and make decisions to repair or replace parts
• Immediately and accurately process paperwork and perform data entry upon completion of each job
• Pre-screen next day service calls by obtaining necessary information to help diagnose problems prior to arriving at customers' homes
• Meet or exceed company metrics (customer satisfaction, fix right first time, revisits, parts management, OT %)

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience in a technical role (Appliance repair preferred)
• Experience repairing major appliances (Refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, cleaning products)
• Experience in the use of tools and diagnostic test equipment
• Ability to properly troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product/system issues
• Valid Driver's license in good standing
• Ability to obtain appropriate EPA Certification
• Meet physical requirements generally associated with field service repair such as continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds

Pay

Recruiting Range: $29.25—$33.75 USD
