Field Service Technician (6-months contract)

What to Expect

We are looking for a Field Service Technician (6-months contract) for Nestlé Professional based in Vancouver, BC. The incumbent will perform on-site dispenser installation, service, preventative maintenance, site surveys, repair and service on a variety of beverage dispensing equipment at customer locations and facilities.

Role Requirements

• Secondary education diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2 years of previous field service experience
• Working knowledge in electrical, mechanical reading schematics, measuring load and customer service
• Must be able to regularly lift and install equipment of up to 55lbs, with the use of proper lifting equipment
• Able to effectively communicate and deliver customer service excellence
• Ability to showcase willingness and commitment to first time fix rates
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Demonstrated ability to learn
• Valid driver’s licence and clean driver’s abstract

Preferred Skills

• Technical or trade school training in electrical or mechanical systems
• Experience servicing beverage, coffee, appliance, or foodservice equipment
• Appliance repair or related technical credentials
• Electrical training and strong troubleshooting skills are highly desirable

Pay

Compensation Range: Salary: CAD 50,000 - CAD 70,000 per annum
