Field Service Tech - Tulsa, OK
About the Role
Scientific Games is hiring field service professionals to address customer needs related to lottery machine service, break-fix, installation, and preventative maintenance. No prior lottery industry experience is required. We prioritize providing our staff with the tools and training to complete jobs efficiently and effectively.
You will spend your days caring for customer needs, resolving equipment and communication concerns, handling new installations, and performing preventative maintenance. You’ll identify lottery care needs and make recommendations to provide the best services. This role is customer-service focused, aimed at creating revenue and keeping customers selling lottery tickets.
You will learn about lottery terminals, IT communications, software, and best practices in customer service. The role offers independence, support from a team of like-minded professionals, and opportunities to achieve weekly service goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide an uncommon customer experience using your technical skills.
- Communicate the value of our services and match products with customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Solve customer challenges on the first visit, owning the resolution process.
- Prepare and analyze reports to identify product failure trends and serviceability issues.
- Lift, install, and move large self-service equipment (occasionally up to 50 pounds).
- Climb ladders as needed for installations and maintenance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Understanding of and experience with troubleshooting computer software and hardware technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with proven technical and customer satisfaction abilities.
- Prompt responsiveness to customer and management requests and feedback.
- Proven self-starter with motivation and ability to work independently.
- Strong organization and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Strong judgment and problem-solving skills to determine cost-effective repairs and minimize customer downtime.
- Ability to lift and move equipment (occasionally up to 50 pounds).
- Pass a background check and maintain a clean driving record (no more than 3 speeding tickets in the last 5 years).
