About the role

Scientific Games is hiring field service professionals to address customer lottery machine service needs, including break-fix, installation, and preventative maintenance. No prior lottery industry experience is required. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, resolving equipment and communication concerns, and ensuring customers can continue selling lottery tickets. You’ll receive comprehensive training on lottery terminals, IT communications, software, and customer service best practices. The position offers independence, team support, and opportunities for advancement in a dynamic and rewarding industry.

Responsibilities

  • Provide an uncommon customer experience using your technical skills.
  • Communicate the value of our services and match products with customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Solve customer challenges the first time, taking ownership of issues.
  • Respond promptly to customer and management requests and feedback.
  • Prepare and analyze reports to identify product failure trends and serviceability issues.
  • Lift, install, and move large self-service equipment (occasionally up to 50 pounds).
  • Climb ladders as needed for installations or repairs.

Requirements

  • Understanding of and experience with troubleshooting computer software and hardware technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with proven technical and customer satisfaction abilities.
  • Proven self-starter with strong motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Great organization and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • Strong judgment and problem-solving skills to determine cost-effective repairs and minimize customer downtime.
  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Pass a background check and maintain a clean driving record (no more than 3 speeding tickets in the last 5 years).
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Conditions

As part of a highly regulated gaming and lottery business, employees may be required to obtain relevant licenses, undergo background investigations, or meet other standards dictated by law, regulation, or contracts.
