FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN - OKC

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site repair and maintenance of copier, fax, and scanner equipment at customer locations within an assigned territory.
• Refurbish used equipment, including cleaning and repairing.
• Perform minimal setup and installation at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot non-printing issues.
• Deliver outstanding customer support by meeting needs in a courteous and timely manner.
• Maintain and repair copier and multi-functional products efficiently and cost-effectively on-site.
• Maintain and expand technical knowledge by attending training classes and meetings.
• Maintain proper parts inventory in vehicle.
• Use diagnostic tools, service aids, and product schematics to assess and resolve equipment and system failures.
• Perform in-shop repair and maintenance of internal equipment.
• Conduct in-shop setup and installation for equipment and accessories.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; or technical school; or three to six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic computer skills required; networking skills a plus.
• A+ certification preferred; network certification or training desirable.
• Current valid driver’s license and proof of insurance; good driving record.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• PC and Microsoft skills.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen (Standley Systems complies with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988; medical marijuana license-holders who test positive for marijuana will not qualify).
