Responsibilities
- Provide on-site repair and maintenance of copier, fax, and scanner equipment at customer locations within an assigned territory.
- Refurbish used equipment, including cleaning and repairing.
- Perform minimal setup and installation at customer locations.
- Troubleshoot non-printing issues.
- Deliver outstanding customer support by meeting needs in a courteous and timely manner.
- Maintain and repair copier and multi-functional products efficiently and cost-effectively on-site.
- Maintain and expand technical knowledge by attending training classes and meetings.
- Maintain proper parts inventory in vehicle.
- Use diagnostic tools, service aids, and product schematics to assess and resolve equipment and system failures.
- Perform in-shop repair and maintenance of internal equipment.
- Conduct in-shop setup and installation for equipment and accessories.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; or technical school; or three to six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic computer skills required; networking skills a plus.
- A+ certification preferred; network certification or training desirable.
- Current valid driver’s license and proof of insurance; good driving record.
- Mechanical aptitude required.
- PC and Microsoft skills.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen (Standley Systems complies with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988; medical marijuana license-holders who test positive for marijuana will not qualify).
