Responsibilities

• Complete all required safety and compliance learning modules on a timely basis and complete medical testing in a timely manner.
• Safely operate a fleet vehicle ranging in size from a cargo van to a 26,000 pound truck.
• Lift and carry up to 65 pounds using appropriate processes and safety procedures.
• Lead and conduct training on Baxter portfolio products and services at the service center, territory, and area levels.
• Perform complex repairs on medical products beyond simple and minor cosmetic repairs or component replacements.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance procedures on various medical products, including pre-installation maintenance, and modification procedures.
• Visually, audibly, and manually inspect Baxter products for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or cosmetic problems requiring adjustment or repair.
• Cook up to 65 pounds using appropriate processes and safety procedures.
• Coordinate daily work assignments, oversee and engage in field and warehouse activities, and manage accurate on-site inventory.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Applicable technical or trade school training preferred
• 3+ years working with medical devices/FDA regulated products in a hands-on environment preferred
• Adapts to new technologies and comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite of products
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company standards and state requirements
• Ability to acquire and maintain a DOT physical card required
• Schedule flexibility/on-call

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base hourly/salary range of $56,000 to $77,000. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/ experience, time in role, business line, and geographic/ office location.
