About the Role

Hankook Tire’s Technical Services Department works in after-sales service, warranty, and quality-related roles. This position will regularly interact with Hankook’s customers (distributors, dealers, and end-users) and internal staff regarding company products and warranties. The role involves traveling to Hankook dealers, distributors, and Hankook’s own facilities to inspect tires returned for warranty and/or quality issues and communicating findings to all necessary parties. The position handles simple to complex inquiries and complaints for all Hankook products through specialized technical knowledge of products and usage. Based at Hankook’s TX Regional Distribution Center in Grand Prairie, TX (75050), this role requires regular travel.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for inspections and communications about warranty and quality items to internal staff and external customers in the South area.
  • Receive and answer simple to complex customer inquiries for all Hankook products through specialized technical knowledge of products and usage.
  • Inspect return tires by physically visiting warehouses, dealers, and fleets, or by conducting photo inspections.
  • Travel regularly for company and/or dealer meetings, market surveys, and field-related issues.
  • Research and resolve a variety of customer complaints and issues.
  • Keep up with competitors’ product information and tire industry regulations.
  • Perform any other duties/responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in engineering or science.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in tire and/or automotive industries.
  • Strong oral and written communication ability.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a result-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (personal vehicle for travel).
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office capabilities.
  • Located in the South within commuting distance to Grand Prairie, Texas.
