Field Service Representative - 1st Shift 5AM to 1PM

About the role

This position is responsible for the inspection and servicing of all products within an assigned hospital or medical center. The Field Service Representative maintains inventory, delivers first-line customer service, and collaborates daily with drivers, operations personnel, sales teams, and corporate support staff to service the assigned location.

Responsibilities

• Work with clinical staff to ensure proper healthcare waste segregation, timely container exchanges, and container fill accuracy.
• Inspect and service all Daniels’ products within the assigned hospital or medical center, including entering procedural areas and working around sensitive patients and equipment.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels of container stock at both location and department levels.
• Communicate clearly and manage strong relationships with hospital staff and Daniels staff.
• Escalate customer issues to your manager to ensure timely resolution using a company-provided smartphone.
• Maintain professional, positive working relationships with customers and hospital staff independently without direct supervision.
• Ensure the staging area is neat and orderly after entering and before leaving the facility.
• Stand and walk for a significant part of the day.
• Lift containers weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Push/pull wheeled transporters and/or palletized product up to approximately 200 lbs.

Requirements

• Willingness to be COVID-19 vaccinated.
• Previous experience in a labor-intensive job.
• A can-do attitude and commitment to efficient, timely scheduling.
