Job Summary
A technical specialist and primary customer support contact to diagnose and execute complex repairs to generators and components at the customer's site. Remote location in Idaho or Wyoming.

Responsibilities
- Completing repair activities on generators or components
- Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Maintaining detailed records of service
- Adhering to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
- Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
- Maintain own tools
- DOT Nice To Have: A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire
- This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
- This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
- Requires a 5 years driving experience
Requirements
- Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities
- High Voltage / Low Voltage experience
- Advanced experience with electrical repair and maintenance
- Proficient Diesel Engine experience
- Advanced troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components
- Setup, troubleshoot and repair basic paralleling generator systems
- Understanding switchgear schematics
- Ability to train Entry/Intermediate Technicians/Mechanics
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have 3 years of driving experience
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
Skills
- Advanced troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components
- Understanding switchgear schematics
- Ability to train Entry/Intermediate Technicians/Mechanics
