Field Service Power Generation Technician
Job Summary
Technical specialist and primary customer support contact to diagnose and execute complex repairs to generators and components at the customer’s site. We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in West Valley, UT. Completing Repair Activities
- Completing repair activities on generators or components
- Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Maintain detailed records of service
- Adequate troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components
- Setup, troubleshoot and repair basic paralleling generator systems
- Understand switchgear schematics
- Ability to train Entry/Intermediate Technicians/Mechanics
Qualifications
- Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities
- High Voltage / Low Voltage experience
- Advanced experience with electrical repair and maintenance
- Proficient Diesel Engine experience
- Advanced troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components
- Setup, troubleshoot and repair basic paralleling generator systems
- Understanding switchgear schematics
- Ability to train Entry/Intermediate Technicians/Mechanics
Requirements

Pay and Benefits
Base Salary rate commensurate with experience.
